Blue Devils dominate at UM Bank United Center!

This past weekend, Elite Cheer and Dance brought 6 of our 9 competitive teams to the US Championships competition in Miami.  All teams had powerful performances! Thanks to our talented athletes and amazing staff; Elite brought home 5 first place trophies and 1 second place trophy!  During the day, the event also hosted some small competitions for the teams.  Congrats to Jordan Reynolds for winning the jump competition, and congrats to Sammi Suss and her stunt group for winning the longest liberty competition! At the awards ceremony Elite also won the Best Tumbling Award, Rampage received the Highest Score of the day, and for having the 3 highest combined scores we were also awarded the Top Program Award!  Elite ROCKED the local competition, proving once again that Elite is the place to be this season, and for many seasons to come! GO BLUE DEVILS!! KEEP IT UP!! 

Elite Cheer and Dance comes away NATIONAL CHAMPIONS from North Carolina competition Spirit of Hope!

Elite Cheer and Dance took teams Rampage (Senior Co-ed 4) and Wrath (Senior Co-ed 5) to the Spirit of Hope competition in North Carolina! Our hours of hard work, sweat, tears, and travel paid off! Wrath had an amazing Day 1 performance and really proved how GREAT they can be when we work as a team! They can't wait until CheerSport to put it all together and take it home! Rampage entered an EXTREMELY difficult division; all teams competing in the division came from large prestigious gyms from around the country (including former All-Level Worlds Champion for the Senior Co-ed 4 division).  After a decent performance on Saturday the team really pulled together for an INCREDIBLE performance on Sunday which earned them the title of NATIONAL CHAMPIONS putting Elite Cheer and Dance on the map as an extreme National Competitior! Congratulations on a GREAT victory! Let's keep this momentum moving for ALL Elite teams competing this coming weekend and at CheerSport Atlanta!!

**CONGRATULATIONS**

WRATH goes to WORLDS!!

Wrath's amazing performance and scores at the Spirit of Hope Nationals and UCA Nationals earned them a BID to the 2009 Cheerleading WORLDS!!  We were proud to represent Universal Spirit with our bid to compete in the Senior Co-ed Unlimited Level 5 division at WORLDS!!  The team had an amazing performance and experience being the first team to COMPETE at worlds from Elite Cheer and Dance! (Our Special Needs Team had an awesome performance last season at WORLDS).  Our Senior Co-ed team is now ranked on a WORLDWIDE level and ranks among the top 15 in the WORLD! What an accomplishment!  Elite Cheer and Dance is the only program in Broward and Palm Beach Counties to be invited to Worlds!

Elite was honored on stage at the Worlds Coaches Awards Ceremony as one of only five gyms nominated from across the nation for the USASF Chairman’s Cup. Elite was recognized by our industries top executive for excelling in community service and going far beyond just being in the business of cheer. A special thanks to everyone that participated in our food and toy drives, buddy walk, special needs programs, and much more. Giving back makes it all worth while. 

Some of our coaches  stayed in Orlando after Worlds to attend the Fifth Annual Coaches Conference. Collectively, we attended 21 different break out sessions covering the gambit of topics from business practices & issues, enhanced training techniques, choreography, and much more. We were also active at all the panel discussions (lead by the foremost industry leading experts who own the largest cheer programs in the nation).  All we can say is WOW. We took pages of notes on what’s working around the country, met privately with key executives and event producers, we have a significantly greater understanding of what we need to do to continue to improve, and how similar our experiences are over these first 3 years of rapid growth. We learned that regardless of how many kids you have cheering, there is a formula too having a winning program –competitively, financially, and most of all in exceeding yours and your children’s expectations year over year.

Elite HAS EXPANDED!!!

That's right, Elite Cheer and Dance is now a 12,000 sq ft FULLY air-conditioned facility.  With 3 Competition size spring floors, 40' tumble trak, ballet bars, and a marley dance floor!  NEW homework/ snack area with bistro tables and chairs.  New wood floors, a FOURTH bathroom, another mirrored wall, and MORE!! Come by and check it out!!
